HANNAH LITTLER

About Me

HANNAH LITTLER is a writer and pun aficionada, hailing from the Land of Cactus (Phoenix, AZ). As a regular Jane of All Trades, she loves diving into creative projects and investing her energy into a variety of communities.

Hannah currently works in programming for Peacock, where her team shapes and strategizes the content slate, planning when and how shows come to the platform. Previously, she worked in production for NBC's Late Night with Seth Meyers and CNN's Have I Got News For You, blending her love for satire and current events.

As a graduate from NYU's Tisch School of the Arts (Class of 2024), Hannah majored dramatic writing, with a concentration in TV. She plans to continue her passion for writing in a variety of formats. Her work spans stage and screen — from her one-act play A Late Night for Littler (which had a successful 2019 run) to scripts showcased for readings at the NYU Day of Play Festival (Crossing Carolyn) and London's The Bush Theatre (Stuff). Her original sitcom pilot Inclusive earned Honorable Mention at the 2024 NYU Fusion Film Festival. She's also performed and wrote with NYU’s sketch/improv group, Bechdel Test.

Hannah's six internships have also created a well rounded foundation, from marketing/consulting to production/development — including at Warner Bros. Discovery, as the Content Acquisitions & Co-Productions Intern for kids and family content.

As an award-winning public speaker, Hannah's goal is to use her own experiences to create discussions about privilege, diversity, and perspective in the world. Whether sitting on a panel or delivering persuasive orations, her work has garnered an extensive list of national titles. Additionally, her work as a speech and debate coach earned her District Alumni Achievement of the Year from the National Speech and Debate Association.

Outside of her creative pursuits, Hannah is a proud cat parent, enthusiastic cook, and firm believer that every good story starts with curiosity and maybe a really good pun.

Original Pilots & Full Length Plays

Inclusive (half-hour pilot, sitcom) - In NYC, an ill-equipped idealist is suddenly promoted as the head of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion to spearhead progressive marketing for a large advertising firm.

Stitched Together (half-hour pilot, comedy) - 25-year-old Gwen dreams of inheriting her family’s chain of theatrical costume shops, but when forced to become both manager and roommate to Jesse, her flighty and distant 40-year-older brother, Gwen must invent new schemes to win her parents’ approval and reconnect with her siblings.

Tidal Trackers (half-hour pilot, kids/animated) - 12-yr-old Riko spends each summer vacation at her mom's job at Gilligan's Maritime Museum. What may seem like a boring collection of old boats and artifacts, turns into a magical ocean adventure, as Riko and friends discover a shapeshifting, gadget-filled submarine, overseen by the scholarly and magical Merleo (half-lion, half-mermaid of course).

Stuff (full length play, dark comedy) - Stuff is a queer love story. Casey and Tyler, a hoarder and kleptomaniac, have fallen out of love and call intervention specialists for each other on the same day. When their therapists arrive, the tenuous relationship is put under the microscope. From farcical mix-ups to the darker past of a grieving couple, the night explores the rules we make and the "stuff" we hold onto.
